Alright we get it homosexuals are people to and their love is the same as
everyone else’s bloody hell. Homosexuals are already generally accepted by
society so why do we feel as though we have to put it into every damn music
video that comes out about love. Although if they hadn’t put 2 dudes
kissing each other everyone would be kicking up a shit storm about this
video being sexist. I personally find it disgusting and very unnatural but
hey ho, and no I’m not religious in fact I’m the complete opposite. Love
the song though :)

Oh dear. Here we go again! Under the strict directions of their label
executives they were forced to transform what could have been a soulful
intelligent song into another disposable back-beat EDM number. We have yet
again another “English Singer” singing in a pastiche American accent;
changing words like “Love” into “Lerrrrrrv” & desperately trying to shriek
monotonous phrases over & over like Whitney Houston.
Drums? Fake! He has a bass kick drum below, yet hits a pad to trigger the
sound!! The Air-Drumming is painful to watch as it obviously was for him to
pretend to perform, along with the other pretend performances that were
hired in just to look good & record the first few samples which
occasionally poke through the mix via copy & pasting bits of them.
0:23 – The Piano is mic’d up without a cable; overlooked by a mixing screen
that isn’t even lit! Funny how it sounds like a cheap dry ‘Roland Studio
Grand’ with no sustain!
And just like Clockwork… 1:00 – There’s your reassurance of a
manufactured POP product – Ass.
All the money is used up by this point, so everything is replaced with
Virtual Instruments & quantized in the sterile environment of Pro-tools as
per usual.
Intro rule: Vocals have to come in the first 10-20 seconds.
Bridge rule: Song has to change to keep listener’s attention – at 2:30.
4 Chord Song Technique: CHECK!
Bad Hook rule: Repeating title over & over makes listeners think it’s
catchy.
4 Minute duration rule: CHECK!
No Ending rule: Endings are sacrificed in order to repeat repeat repeat.
etc.
All songs are made in the same way now because individuality is BAD for
you!! We don’t want people to start thinking for themselves.

This is a great song, but, it had potential to be something better. The
first 50 seconds i believe are a glimpse of what could have been a real
touching, emotionally deep song; which was ruined by the change in beat to
make it a more of a club song which wont be around in a years time, which
is sad.
