Coronavirus obliges international artists to cancel the dates of their concert tours

Written by on 11/03/2020

With the advance of the Coronavirus now reaching and exceeding 100,000 cases worldwide, many world music stars have forcibly decided to cancel concerts and tours around the cities.

This was done to avoid gathering people from the public and spreading the infection from person to person. Nobody in the world is immune to the COVID-19 virus as a result has become a worldwide emergency. Artists like Justin Bieber, Martin Garrix, Like Mike, Stormzy, Khalid, Mabel, Santana, BTS, Green Day, Ben Harper, Avril Lavigne, Maluma, Mariah Carey, Adam Lambert, Queen, just to mention some, have decided to cancel the their exhibition dates. The big meeting of the Winter Edition 2020 of “Tomorrowland” which was to be held in France, has also been canceled.
It can be said that at the moment, 20,000 and more events relating to music have been postponed to a date to be destined or even canceled. It seems that the loss of earnings in ticket sales has been estimated at more than 290 million Euros.
The return to normal is not currently definable and will depend more on the spread, on the contrary, on the containment of the Coronavirus.

We can all avoid spreading by taking the simple precautions described in this post.
