1970s: The Spark of FM Radio
Our adventure began in the 1970s, an era of great cultural and technological ferment. A passion for FM broadcasting led to the founding of “Radio Onda Nuova” in Sesto San Giovanni (MI), one of the first experiments that laid the groundwork for our future in media.
1990s: The DJ and Speaker Era
The nineties saw us take center stage as DJs and speakers at various local venues, including “The Crow” pub and radio stations like Radio Kelly Milano. This decade was crucial for honing our skills and cementing our passion for entertainment.
Late 90s: Timeradio and the Web Revolution
With the dawn of the internet, we launched one of Italy’s first web radios: Timeradio. Using an ISDN connection and a Shoutcast server, we began streaming music online, pioneering a new era in the **music broadcasting evolution**.
2000s: The Leap to Web TV
The idea of pairing video with audio became a reality. Between 2009 and 2010, Timeradio evolved into timeradio.tv, starting its journey into video broadcasting. Using green screens and virtual studios, we produced innovative shows like “House Passion,” building a talented team of hosts and artists.
2013: TMR.TV, Reaching a Global Audience
The channel transformed again, becoming TMR.TV to cater to an international audience. With a new logo and a revamped studio, we launched shows like “The European TOP40,” solidifying our presence in the video streaming landscape.
2018: The Birth of V2BEAT
In August 2018, the project underwent its final evolution: V2BEAT was born. A new name and brand to be even more impactful in the world of music and artists. The studio was expanded to host new formats like “POP NEWS,” a live talk show featuring interviews with artists and DJs.
Today and Beyond: The Adventure Continues
The studio has been further expanded and upgraded, ready for new productions and challenges. The V2BEAT story is constantly evolving, driven by the same lifelong passion and a relentless desire to innovate. The adventure is far from over.
