1 – Headie One x Drake – Only You Freestyle (Mikado Remix)
I don’t like Trap and Hip Hop Ghetto music but … I really like this track, I perceive a lot of technique in the sounds and a very set voice. So that’s OK for me.
2 – Chris Brown & Young Thug (ft. Don Vic) – Go Crazy Remix
Nothing to say, he is an Artist with a capital A. This new single is beautiful.
3 – Little Mix – Holiday (Frank Walker Remix)
‘Little Mix’ is a British girl group formed in 2011. They have been producing excellent Pop music for 10 years. Even in this new single they do not contradict themselves. Good as always.
4 – Miley Cyrus – Midnight Sky (M + ike Remix)
‘Miley Ray Cyrus’, (Nashville, November 23, 1992), is an American singer-songwriter and actress. It has only been producing for 4 years but with excellent results. It is definitely a new icon of Pop music.
PS this Micromix was very difficult to build, for BPM sometimes slow and sometimes faster or more dissonant. But … my teacher Leonardo Rececconi aka Leopardo always told me: ‘if you can’t mix songs, invent something, the important thing is to always play beautiful music’. I did so I made something up.
