Hello all welcome back with POP NEWS, the weekly appointment with 10 great pop songs 2020 and video clips starting on rotation on V2BEAT Music TV channel.
This is a week a little lacking in new proposals also considering the necessary break of the artists for the Christmas holidays.
Those who did not go wild with the Christmas bells are indeed few, among them we find the latest release of the British duo “CamelPhat” who in their eclectic style present us a beautiful video song entitled Easier.
The young singer of Dominican origins, Prince Royce instead enjoyed re-proposing a historic success by Graig David, the legendary Fill Me In, not bad indeed this version. A surprise comes to us from Abel Makkonen Tesfaye aka The Weeknd.
The Canadian singer paired this time with a decidedly alternative voice, the voice of ROSALIA. Rosalia is a Flamenco singer and artist from Barcelona, Spain. The combination is decidedly strange but enchants us with the famous hit song “Blinding Lights”.
A new discography discovery this week comes to us from Rina Sawayama, Japanese-British singer-songwriter and model based in London. He comes out with his dance proposal entitled LUCID.
Also noteworthy is the return of the Italo-British group MEDUZA feat. Dermot Kennedy with the single Paradise. (The word Paradise seems to be used a lot lately for song titles …)
A beautiful munical piece is offered to us by a no longer emerging artist called Mat Kearney, his bicycle trip through the woods and the countryside accompanies us together with a voice that reminds us a lot of the style of ColdPlay. Definitely to be listened to with a good glass of wine in hand.
To close the record review of the week we remember at least a couple of interesting remixes: Justin Bieber ft Benny Blanco – Lonely (Jay Bombay Remix) and Ariana Grande – 34 + 35 (Ray Isaac Remix).
