Hello from DANIELE MILANI , This time I’ve gratefully the superb music of a early ’70s soul and funk group that left a big trace on the black music environment: The Commodores. I’ve mixed 4 of their best hits songs in a Micromix tracks that is now rotating on V2BEAT on line Music television.

MICROMIX  The Best Of The Commodores

New Micromix this week which includes 4 tracks

1 – Commodores – Easy (Vintage Culture Remix)

2 – Commodores Brick House (Club Mix)

3 – Commodores – Lady (You Bring Me Up Up) (Extended Rework)

4 – Lionel Richie – Angel (Boogieman Remix Radio Edit)

The “Commodores” are an American group of funk / soul genre.
They met with great success between the seventies and the eighties. They formed in Detroit in 1968 and immediately signed to Motown Records.
Great group Funky have produced unforgettable songs both to dance and to listen to with the exit from the group of front man Lionel Richie they got lost, while he was very successful as a soloist, in fact I also included his song “Angel”.
I found these versions very appealing to a younger audience.
I had the pleasure of seeing and hearing them in concert in Milan in 1993 they were crazy 3 hours of concert without ever stopping.
The “Commodores” GREAT.

As always they started rotating on V2BEAT Music TVision!

Doja Cat let us judge her musical work entitled “Say So”, 70s bands from Disco Music recall?

Amalaratna Zandile Dlamini, AKA Doja Kat, 25 year old rapper, songwriter, singer and record producer from Los Angeles,

presents her latest musical work entitled “Say So”. The theme of the song is very well balanced, and the bass guitar melody is very reminiscent of some 70s bands from Disco Music. Perhaps the abandonment of the classic RAP lets Doja Cat be open to sweeter and more melodic sounds that make it easier to listen. Definitely a typically radio musical motif and to be used as a background for various uses. To listen and judge …

Hello from Daniele Milani, this time I’d like to remind you guys the best of a great legacy artist: Jean Marc Cerrone.

The Italian-French percussionist in the 70s / 80s produced 6 crazy albums.
Surely one of the greatest living drummers I personally tested that he managed to stay perfectly in time for the duration of his pieces.
He created with a sound made by percussion / bass / and winning sexy female refrains.
His very sexy covers for those years are also captivating.
Innovative to introduce first electronic effects and straight and powerful speaker that still today sounds fresh and current.

“Jean-Marc Cerrone is a French disco drummer, composer, record producer and creator of concert shows. Cerrone is an influential producer of 1970s and 1980s disco songs. He has sold over 30 million albums worldwide, including over four million copies in France, and eight million copies of Supernature, The single “Love in C Minor” reached No.  more…Wikipedia “

I chose these 4 tracks to create a JM Cerrone Micromix in 10 minutes.
